Paris au temps des impressionnistes" à l'Hôtel de Ville

PARIS - Monet, Manet, Degas, Jongkind, Toulouse-Lautrec, Steinlen ... They are all there to remember what "Paris at the time of the Impressionists, an exhibition that offers the Hotel de Ville in the capital until the end of July.

The hundred paintings, drawings, models, loaned by the Musée d'Orsay are presented by themes: Paris building, artistic life, social life, small people, etc.., Showing that everything in Paris has inspired artists .

This is a painting by Jongkind "The Seine and Notre-Dame de Paris" which serves as a poster at the exhibition, showing a virtually unchanged side from the capital. The works are preceded by a set of plans and architectural drawings, plans for the Paris Opera, for various theaters, for building social housing for the mayors of the 20 newly created districts, etc..
